Old Line Arsenal has waited until the final hours to submit a revised site plan to Frederick County.  You can view the site plan here.  Some of the changes to note are the location of the ranges and the decibel readings added to the map.

Please take some time to review the site plan before the public hearing tomorrow.

The hearing starts at 1pm, there is a break from 5:30pm-7pm and the meeting will continue as needed.  If all testimony isn't heard, the meeting will continue on Sept 2.  The hearing will be at Winchester Hall in Frederick, MD.  You can view the meeting agenda here.

Thank you for your continued support.  We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the hearing.

Just one day until the public hearing for the proposed firearms training facility at Sugarloaf Mountain.  We're getting the word out with social media, phone calls, emails and our signs and banners.  Endorsements for our opposition are pouring in from politicians, businesses, churches and citizens.

We have some creative Sugarloaf Alliance supporters who posted this banner for commuters to see this morning.

If you would like a sign for your yard, please contact me using contact info on our website or reply to this post.

Although most of our signs and banners are still around, we had a banner stolen from a supporter's property at the corner of Park Mills Road and 355.

Someone cut the bungee cords holding it to the posts and made off with our banner.  Frederick's finest came out and took a report on the vandalism.  There are still banners along 270 and Thurston Road.  We're looking for a location for a banner ahead of the meeting on Thursday.

Please contact us if you have a property on a heavily traveled road and will allow us to put a banner up.
The agenda for the public hearing on August 28 has been posted.  You can view it here - Public Hearing for Special Exception B-14-23.

Old Line Arsenal had an open house this weekend and were distributing this flyer to attendees.  Once you've read their plans for the property,  go over here and check out the documents they have filed with the county.

The public hearing for their special exception application is August 28 @ 1pm at Winchester Hall in Frederick, MD.  Please attend and make your opposition to this facility heard!
